Ocean Waves

Ocean waves cycle at roughly 10–15 breaths per minute — close to the coherent-breathing target (5.5–6 bpm) when you breathe with every other wave. The slow, predictable rhythm is uniquely effective for parasympathetic activation, which is why beaches feel calming before any conscious effort.

Why it works
